DECK MAKER APPLICATIONS

- Please make one regular deck based on a character that you personally love and enjoy and a special deck from one of the following options: 1, 2, 3, 4. You MAY choose any character you'd like but you can only choose one of these for your special deck donation.
- Delight has no rule that requires diverse mediums in decks. In fact, the more uniform a deck is, the more aesthetically pleasing it is. The only real rule her is make it look as good as possible.

- You aren't given a set number of images and can select your own character. Why? I want to see what your taste level is and your eye for images. This does NOT have to do with the character or special topic chosen. It has to do with selecting fitting images for decks, understanding how to crop and colour a character or image, and also selecting images that are pleasing to the eye. Not all donation zips will have this capability, though, so stay on your toes.

- Make sure you follow the guidelines for how a deck should be made:

- Each deck is composed of two border colours: a lighter and darker colour. The darker colour should be at the bottom of the gradient and used for the text stroke. The lighter colour should be used as the top of the gradient and the coloured border. You do have some freedom in terms of the gradient and the use of multiple colours, but just remember. The coloured border and the text stroke SHOULD NOT BE THE SAME COLOUR and the text stroke should always be the darker or more legible colour.
- The text for the decks is 04b24 and should always be set to lowercase, size 8 and none. This should already be pre-set for you besides installing the font. DO NOT EDIT THIS.
- Deck templates don't have a layer mask on them (tho they probably should) so it's up to you to cut out obtrusive parts of cards that spill outside of the template or onto another card. Be diligent about this!
- For regular decks, try to make each card look as different as possible. This can be hard with some sprite edits where it's hard to tell a :\ expression from a :| expression, so there is leeway. But, if the opportunity is available, try to give each card variety so they are easily distinguishable.
- ALL DECK IMAGES SHOULD BE EDITED IN SOME WAY. Do not simply slap cropped images into a template without editing them. How you edit them is up to you, as is the method of editing (editing first or editing the image on the template), but they MUST be edited.
- Special decks are pretty self-explanitory. Do all the above stuff and you're golden.
- The best way to save decks is to go to File > Save for Web. Decks should be saved as PNG-24 with checked transparency. If you don't want to have to go through the hassle of renaming decks afterwards, go to the small menu tab in the top right and select "Edit Output Settings." On the second drop down menu, select Slice and make sure all of the bottom drop down menus on the right say "none."
- A complete deck of any kind should be 22 files: 20 cards, 1 00 card and a mastery badge.
- Your decks must also have a fitting deckname. Do not name your test decks something like "test special" or "try 1." Make them fit!

The following folder will contain all five PSDs necessary for your deckmaker test. You will not be tested on puzzle decks. The mastery template works for all decks while the regular and special decks require different templates for both card tables and 00 cards.

If you apply for deckmaking, you'll be rewarded with 10 random cards once the TCG opens, even if you aren't accepted! I'll be accepting 2 to 3 deckmakers, so have at it! Accepted deckmakers will have the decks they make featured in the TCG (barring specials which I'll pick which one I like best if more than one deckmaker makes the same sample deck). If you are shortlisted, I may ask for your deck to be included in the TCG anyway, which you will be rewarded for!

TO SUBMIT YOUR DECKS
- The comments to this entry will be screened. When you are done, post your decks in a zip folder. This zip should contain 2 folders: one for your regular and one for your special. All cards should be named accordingly (like architect01, simple05, etc) and all 22 images should be there.
- Good luck!

confirmed deckmaker claim list

so aka shannon, nevi and kiss duke it out (others to be added)

- make a comment with your name in the subject header
- insert deck ideas, canons, and characters you want to claim as yours
- this counts for donated decks from other players AND decks you want to make for yourself, whether it's for prejoin or when the tcg is open
- you don't gotta get all technical like "i want this specific picture as a puzzle, it's mine;" just a general sense of what you want when it comes to deck making
